Answer:For those wishing to visit Boldt Castle with the Gananoque Boat Line (schedule 10 am and 3 pm daily), it is important to know that  Boldt Castle is located in United States waters.  The Gananoque Boat Line operates from a Canadian port.  Because of this fact, all tours to Boldt Castle are subject to strict Canadian and United States customs and immigration policies following the tragic events of September 11, 2001. The Gananoque Boat Line has no control over these policies and must adhere to them. The following are the documents required by passengers to take the 5 hour Boldt Castle Tour.
NO EXCEPTIONS WILL OR CAN BE MADE TO THE FOLLOWING
1) Canadian and American citizens require proof of citizenship. This is in the form of a passport or a birth certificate (if a birth certificate is used it must be accompanied by at least one piece of government identification, (i.e. driver's license, health card, military I.D.). A driver's license or a health card or social insurance card alone does not prove citizenship.
2) All other visitors will require a passport and a valid Canadian and United States entry visa.
3) Passengers must show appropriate documents to the Gananoque Boat Line personnel prior to purchasing tickets.
4) Passengers must carry their documents with them at all times while onboard.
5) Please note anyone requiring and entry visa, one can be obtained at any border crossing at a cost of $6.00 American and the border will not accept Canadian funds.

THE ABOVE IS SUBJECT TO CHANGE WITHOUT NOTICE.
